PF Flyers vice president named director of player development at UC
This week University of Cincinnati head baseball coach Scott Googins named PF Flyers Vice President and co-founder Kevin Hollabaugh as director of player development for the Bearcats baseball team.
Hollabaugh, who also is the head coach of the 9U PF Flyers, will work with UC’s players to improve their performance on the field.
Hollabaugh is the owner and program director of ProForce Sports Performance, which he founded in 2014. Before that, his coaching experience had taken him from the University of South Florida to sports performance facilities in Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Hollabaugh also serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Cincinnati where he teaches several courses.
Hollabaugh earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Cincinnati. While studying for his bachelor's he worked as a student athletic trainer for UC Football and played for the UC Club baseball team.
"Kevin has a diverse skillset that will allow him to help our program in so many areas," Googins said in a news release. "I appreciate and respect the credibility he brings to our program. His extensive baseball background coupled with his commitment to player development makes him a key addition to our program moving forward."
As founder of ProForce Sports Performance, Hollabaugh is responsible for the day-to-day business operations. He counsels athletes and coaches on training, recovery and management as well as brand development.
"I am excited to return to my alma mater and to have the opportunity to work with the baseball team," Hollabaugh said. "I am passionate about the sport, have dedicated the past 14 years of my professional career to bettering it, and cannot wait to share my knowledge and experience with the team."
