Rahman Corbett

17U Assistant Coach

Rahman Corbett is a veteran youth baseball coach, former MLB draft pick and Division I baseball player.

Corbett is a Cincinnati native, who grew up in Woodlawn. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1996. While there, he played baseball and football. He was drafted out of high school by the Chicago Cubs in 1996. Corbett played college baseball at Lake Michigan College, a Division II Junior College, and Division I Chicago State University. He graduated from Chicago State in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Corbett was inspired and helped at an early age by volunteer coaches who gave their time and energy to help him grow as a young person and ballplayer. It has become a passion to do the same for other young ballplayers. He enjoys teaching the fundamentals, talking through the mental process and identifying the highs and lows within the game of baseball.

Corbett has coached locally in the Ohio Power, Storm Club and Cincy Flames organizations. He was one of the original founding members of the PF Flyers Baseball Club.

Outside of baseball, Corbett works as Solution Engineer for SAP LeanIX, offering a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for managing Enterprise Architecture and multi-cloud environments enabling organizations to make faster, data-driven decisions within their IT-environments.

Corbett lives in West Chester with his wife, Michelle, his son, Donovan, and daughter, Gabrielle.
