Jamie Hausman started his love for baseball like many at age 4. This love for the game soon evolved into an obsession, which has continued to this day.

Jamie remembers watching SportsCenter baseball highlights for hours, hoping to see the new “late night” highlights.

Jamie started his summer baseball playing Knothole before advancing to play with Franklin Savings. During his time with Franklin, the team won multiple tournaments including National Championships. Jamie played high school baseball at Milford High School where earned All-Conference honors.

Following high school, Jamie pitched at Bluffton University. After an All-Conference junior campaign, Jamie was recognized on the pre-season All American watch list. Off the field, his college experience was shaped by the tragic bus accident in 2007 resulting in the loss of five teammates. The team was later honored for its response with the NCAA Inspiration Award and subsequently elected to the school’s Hall of Fame.

After graduation, Jamie carried his passion for baseball into coaching where he started helping with an 11u team in Cincinnati. That team quickly developed into one of the top teams in the region. He ended up coaching more than 25 players who went on to play college baseball.

Jamie’s coaching philosophy is to play high energy, aggressive, fundamental baseball.

“My proudest accomplishment as a coach are the relationships I carry with my players,” Jamie said. “Watching each of them develop into doctors, lawyers and thriving adults is by far the most rewarding part of my experience.”

Jamie lives in Loveland with his wife Stephanie, three children, Owen, Charli and Cameron, and their dog Larkin.
